Honoring our Veterans

11/04/2026

Thank you Jarvi Productions for joining us and capturing the Honor Stroll.

11/03/2026

The Honor Platoon has heard many great comments about our Honor Stroll last weekend. We could not have done it without the help of the Honor Platoon and community volunteers.
Thank you to the Town of Billerica for their use of the field and their never-ending support. A special thanks to Donnie Jarvis and Christina Byron for their guidance and assistance.
Thank you to the Middlesex Sherriff's office and the Billerica Country Club for loaning us golf carts so we could help people get where they wanted to go.
Thank you to the Thomas Talbot Lodge of Freemasons for the delicious food.
Thank you to Jim Sellers and John LaFauci for organizing a great car show.
Thank you to our great band, The Gnome Mans band and thank you to Scout Troops 55 and 11, and Pack 54.
Thank you to Mary Leach for the great photographs and to Isaac Wright Lichter and BATV for the videography.

This was also a resource fair and we greatly appreciate all the organizations and businesses that participated and shared their services and promotions for veterans. Thank you to:

A Little Holiday Cheer Can Make a Big Difference!

The Billerica Veterans Services Office and Billerica Honor Platoon invite our entire community to come together for our Annual Christmas Stocking Stuffing Party!

Sunday, December 6, 2026
12:00 PM

We’re coming together to fill Christmas stockings with a little holiday joy and a whole lot of appreciation for our veterans!

Whether you bring a stocking already filled, donate a few items, or simply join us to help stuff stockings, everyone is welcome, and every contribution matters!

These stockings will be distributed to our veterans at our Annual Veterans Holiday Party on December 15.

Sometimes the smallest gestures bring the biggest smiles. Let’s come together as a community and remind our veterans just how much they mean to us this holiday season! 🎅🇺🇸

BILLERICA, HELP US REMEMBER OUR HEROES!

Behind every headstone is a name. Behind every name is a story. And behind every story is someone who answered the call to serve our nation.

On Saturday, December 19, 2026, our community will come together at Fox Hill Cemetery for Wreaths Across America, continuing our tradition of honoring the men and women who served our country.

But we need YOUR help!

By sponsoring a wreath, you’re doing more than placing greenery on a grave. You’re honoring a life, remembering a sacrifice, and reminding future generations that freedom is never free.

Every wreath matters. Every veteran deserves to be remembered.

Sponsor a wreath today:
www.WreathsAcrossBillerica.com

Can’t sponsor a wreath? Please consider sharing this post with your family, friends, neighbors, and local businesses. Every share helps us reach someone who may want to make a difference.

Let’s come together, Billerica, and show our veterans and their families that their service and sacrifices will never be forgotten.

REMEMBER. HONOR. TEACH.

Office Closure Notice – Billerica Veterans Services

On behalf of our friends at the Billerica Veterans Services Office, we wanted to help spread the word that their office will be closed October Monday 19– Friday 23, 2026, while staff attend required professional training.

This includes off-site training and additional training related to their VA accreditation, both of which are essential to the work they do assisting and advocating for our local veterans and their families.

We appreciate the dedication of our Veterans Services staff as they continue to strengthen their knowledge and maintain the credentials needed to serve our veteran community.

Please help us share this information so our local veterans and their families are aware of the closure.
