Some good news.

Thanks to the work of Town Engineer Kelley Conway, Billerica has been awarded a $720,364.14 Complete Streets Grant for sidewalk construction on Pollard Street.

These sidewalks will be in a key area of town, near the Marshall Middle School and Hajjar Elementary School, making this an important safety improvement for students, families, and residents who walk in the area.

Thank you to MassDOT, Highway Administrator Jonathan Gulliver, Interim Secretary of Transportation Phillip Eng, and the Healey Administration for understanding the need and selecting Billerica for this grant award.
