Meet Brunhilda — aka Brunie 💖

If you’re looking for a low-maintenance couch potato with the personality of a retired comedian, Brunie may just be your perfect match.

Brunie’s favorite hobbies include:
🍔 Snacking (seriously… guard your plate)
🛋️ Sleeping in every soft spot available
🐽 Snorting her way through life
🚶‍♀️ Going for walks
📺 Watching TV like it’s her full-time job

This girl is the definition of cozy companion energy. She’s completely crate trained, non-destructive in the home, and perfectly content snoozing the day away while you work. Give her a comfy bed, a midday snack, and a little evening tug session during her daily “witching hour” and she’s happy as can be.

A few things to know about our hilarious queen:
✨ She’s VERY food motivated
✨ She thinks personal space is optional
✨ She will absolutely bark at animals on TV
✨ She prefers older teens/adults who understand her goofy quirks
✨ She can be leash reactive to dogs on walks, but passes people beautifully

At 5 months old, Axel is the perfect mix of playful adventure buddy and cuddle-loving couch potato. 🐶💥🛋️ One minute he’s zooming around having the time of his life, the next he’s passed out snoring with his favorite stuffie.

A few important things about this handsome little dude:

Clover never made it into a foster home. 💔

After being found as a stray in Sutton, Massachusetts, she waited here in rescue for someone to open their home to her. Before that could happen, an internal mass ruptured, and the kindest thing we could do was let her go peacefully.

Clover deserved the chance to feel safe, loved, and home again. We are heartbroken she never got that opportunity.

Fostering truly saves lives. It gives dogs time, comfort, safety, and sometimes the second chance they desperately need. Please, if you have ever considered fostering, reach out to your local shelters and rescues. Even one open space in a home can change everything for a dog like Clover.

And if you are looking to add a dog to your family, please look locally first. There are so many incredible souls waiting right in your community, hoping someone will choose them. 🐾

A huge thank you to all of the BBR volunteers who spent time with Clover while she was at animal control, showed her kindness, advocated for her, and made sure she felt loved during her time with us. Your compassion mattered more than you know.

This handsome, goofy, toy-chasing superstar is STILL waiting for his forever family while absolutely crushing flirt pole time like a pro. Athletic? Yep. Smart? Very. Cute enough to get away with everything? Unfortunately, also yes.

🐾 Meet Wally 🐾

Wally’s story started rough. He was found as a stray in Boston with his littermates, underfed and struggling before he even got a fair shot at puppyhood. Since then, this little guy has overcome more than most dogs ever should.

After a severe reaction to his first vaccines landed him in the hospital, Wally later began having mobility issues from poor early nutrition. Then came another scare — a large mass in his neck that had everyone fearing cancer at just 15 weeks old.

But thanks to the incredible team Douglas Animal Clinic, Wally got the answers he needed. Now, all this sweet boy needs is one thyroid pill a day and a family committed to loving him forever. ❤️

And trust us — he makes it easy.

At 5 months old, Wally is crate trained, dog friendly, kid friendly, and an expert-level cuddle bug who believes personal space is optional. He loves belly rubs, peanut butter Kongs, sniffy walks, chewing toys, chasing bugs, and “cleaning” the floor in case you dropped snacks. 🍪

He’s playful, goofy, resilient, and SO ready to finally have the happy ending he deserves.

🚨 ONE YEAR?! Absolutely not. 🚨

Our boy Odie is coming up on 1 year with BBR in June and we are officially declaring: this sweet, goofy, adventure-loving boy deserves his forever home BEFORE that happens. 🐾❤️

At just 2 years old, Odie is basically the full package:
✨ professional snuggler
✨ hiking buddy
✨ smartest kid in class
✨ future agility/nose work superstar
✨ loyal best friend material

We think Odie is a husky/pit mix, which means he got the brains, the personality, AND the good looks. Honestly unfair. 😍

Odie can be a little shy when meeting new people or dogs, but give him a few minutes and suddenly you’ve got a Velcro bestie who just wants to love his people. Because of that, he’d thrive in a quieter home outside the busy city life where he can relax and be his best self.

And can we talk about how hard this boy has worked lately?! 👏 Odie has been putting in serious training time to build confidence on leash and he has made AMAZING progress. He loves learning, loves having a job, and is so eager to make his humans proud.

🎃 Meet Pumpkin 🎃

This sweet little gem has already been through more than any puppy should. Found as a stray, severely underweight and malnourished, with a tail that’s been broken more than once… but somehow Pumpkin still wakes up every day convinced the world is full of love. 💕

Pumpkin is a happy, enthusiastic young bulldog mix with a BIG personality packed into a sturdy little body. She adores people, loves other dogs, and if she feels ignored for even a second? Don’t worry — she’ll “talk” to you about it. 😂

She’s playful, goofy, and currently perfecting her couch-to-ottoman parkour routine with her bulldog foster brother. She’s strong on leash, still learning her manners, and looking for a family ready to continue her training and help her grow into the amazing dog she’s meant to be.

Pippa the puppy says pick her. 🩷

At just 5 months old, Pippa is already proving she’s the whole package. She’s crate trained, house trained, good with kids, cats, and dogs, and ready to take on the world one tiny adventure at a time.

She’s playful, sweet, curious, and full of puppy charm — but also deeply committed to the cozy life. Her biggest requirement? Plenty of blankets. Preferably soft ones. Warm ones. Ones she can burrow into dramatically for naps after a long day of being adorable.

Pippa is the kind of puppy who will grow up right beside her family through every season of life. Morning routines, couch snuggles, backyard zoomies, road trips, lazy Sundays — she’s ready for all of it.

Now she just needs someone to choose her forever. 🐾
