Congratulations to Jake and Eric Banda — two of our 2026 Alan M. Tarara Scholarship Fund recipients — on representing the Shawsheen Rams in the 48th Annual Shriners All‑Star Football Classic, helping raise funds for an incredible cause!

We are so proud to support student‑athletes who use their talents to make a difference for patients and families at Shriners Children’s!

A special moment for Shawsheen Tech football on Friday night.

Jake and Eric Banda represented the Rams in the 48th Annual Shriners All-Star Football Classic, a game that raises funds to support patients and families at Shriners Children's Boston.

In a full-circle moment, Jake Banda was named captain of the North Team. Earlier this year, he received care at Shriners, making the opportunity even more meaningful.

James Tildsley and Dyllon Pratt were also selected to participate in the game but were unable to attend due to college commitments.

Congratulations to all four student-athletes on this well-deserved recognition.

Fast‑forward to the 18:10 mark in the 2026 Vocational Awards Ceremony to hear one of the Plumbing Shop teachers, Mr. David Scholl, speak so kindly about the Alan M. Tarara Scholarship Fund and 12 Shawsheen Tech seniors we were proud to support this year.

Each of these seniors received a gift card to help them begin their plumbing careers with the tools they need to succeed.

This ceremony is a special celebration of student dedication, skill development, leadership, and excellence across all vocational programs and we are honored to play a small part in their journey!

We’re putting the finishing touches on the Alan M. Tarara Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament, and we’d love your help making our raffle table the best one yet.

If you or your favorite local hot spot would like to donate a raffle basket, gift card, or themed item, we would be so grateful. Our golfers are in for an amazing day and the raffle tables are always a highlight.

This year’s prizes already include autographed memorabilia, Patriots tickets, Red Sox tickets, gift cards, and themed baskets, and we’d love to showcase even more community favorites.

Congratulations to Kyle Marrone, one of our 2026 Alan M. Tarara Scholarship Fund recipients, on being recognized for his outstanding leadership within the Class of 2026.

We are so proud to support students like Kyle who embody dedication, character, and a bright future in the trades.

Kyle Marrone has played an important role in helping lead the senior class as Class Vice President, bringing energy, reliability, and a strong sense of school pride to the Shawsheen Tech community. Through his involvement and leadership, he has helped make the Class of 2026 memorable both inside and outside the classroom.

Carla is the sister of one of Al’s best friends, Tony, and the entire DeSantis family has always been known for their kindness, loyalty, and generosity. Their support means more than words can say.

Because of Carla’s donation, we’re able to continue providing tools and opportunities to the next generation of plumbers at Shawsheen Valley Technical High School, helping Al’s legacy live on in every student we support. ⛳️

Al and Donny Bonner built a special bond years ago when Al handled the plumbing on Donny’s new build in Yarmouthport. From day one, Al fit right in, working side‑by‑side with Don, his father‑in‑law Paul, and Diane’s uncle Pip. He was simply one of the guys.
