FRC Team 4909 - Bionics FIRST Team 4909 - Bionics is an FRC team at Billerica Memorial High School Team 4909 is a FIRST Robotics Competition team at Billerica Memorial High School.

The team is open to all students at the high school and offers opportunities for students to learn and experience robotics design, managing a business, participating in community events and competing as a team. Preseason
The team meets twice weekly Sep-Dec; once after school and once after dinner learning new topics, on-boarding new members and getting prepared for the new season. This typically i

ncludes attending at least one, unofficial post season event. Build Season
The first six weeks of Jan-Feb are the "build season" where the team is required to design, build and deliver a competitive robot for the new season. During this time, the team meets a few times during the week and all day on Saturday. Competition Season
Regional competitions occur throughout New England in March and April followed by the World Championship. Team 4909 attends two events with the goal of reaching the New England Championship. Most events are 2 days and held on Sat-Sun. Post Season
After competitions, the team meets as needed in May-June to wrap up any remaining items and plan for the next season.
