🧺 Laundry has never been this cute.

Who says laundry has to be boring?! 🐑🧶

Join us at BACC for an Intro to Needle Felting with Jeanne Wendland and turn an ordinary wool dryer ball into a tiny work of art! Learn the basics of needle felting while creating your own design. Go sweet, silly, colorful, floral, furry, or completely off the rails.

Best part? Your masterpiece isn’t just cute. Toss it in the dryer and put it to work!

Golden Hour got a little MESSY this week… and we wouldn’t have it any other way! 😂🎨

Oil pastels on our hands, color everywhere, lots of laughter, great conversation, and some pretty fabulous art happening along the way.

Because apparently, the sign of a successful art hour is leaving with more color on YOU than when you arrived. 🤣

Many of you signed up for our Caregiver Retreat led by my sister Suzanne Bottum-Jones in June; and as you know we had to cancel. Today, I am sharing with you the why. My beautiful sister, Suzanne, has been a cancer survivor for 8 years. This May she developed symptoms of metastasis to her brain. Suzanne spent a lifetime as a rural health care advocate, so we were devastated to learn that her Oncologist had failed to do the proper testing during those 8 years of living. As we travel this journey of cognitive and physical changes that are happening so quickly, we wanted to share some of what she spent her life passionately teaching and some of what she was to share during the retreat here:

A huge THANK YOU to H.C. Silver for spending three incredible days with us at BACC! 🤍✨

What a treat to have such a talented silversmith share her craft, creativity, and expertise with our community. Over three days, participants learned the art of working with silver and walked away wearing three stunning handmade rings they created themselves! 💍💍💍

There is something pretty special about learning directly from an artist, working with your own hands, and leaving with something beautiful that tells the story of the experience.

Thank you, Hunter, for bringing your talent to BACC and giving our makers an experience they will treasure. We loved having you! ❤️

We’re turning tiny pictures into artistic magnets! A fun, relaxed hour of creativity and connection.

🍒 WEDNESDAY | Paper Quilling with Jeanne | 2–4 PM
Roll, curl, shape and create a sweet cherry paper-quilled card with BACC artist Jeanne Wendland.

🦋 SATURDAY | Watercolor with Chelcee | 2–4 PM
Pick up your paintbrush and create a beautiful monarch butterfly while learning watercolor techniques along the way.

🐠 SATURDAY | Clay with Dudley Anderson
Dudley is coming all the way from Missoula to BACC! Watch a simple slab of clay come to life as a whimsical angelfish, while learning some of Dudley’s fantastic texture techniques and creative tricks.

The air outside may be smoky, but inside BACC it’s looking pretty colorful. 🌈
