Queen of Sparkles and Volunteering: we couldn’t be more thankful to our board member Shannon for her contributions to the town of Bigfork. Hands on and life of the party, we were proud to honor her at our recent Annual Spring Dinner.

The CFBB’s Big Hat Award annually recognizes locals who contribute significant volunteer time and energy to the betterment of the Bigfork community. This iconic local award celebrates the individuals who are the cornerstone of our village. The Big Hat Award is Bigfork’s lifetime achievement award focusing on service to community and bettering our local way of life.

The Bigfork Inn Restaurant & Bar looks forward to unveiling their thoughtful restoration with a little history and a chance to explore the renovated updates.

All proceeds go towards the CFBB’s campaign to Preserve River View Place, another historic Bigfork landmark of downtown green space overlooking the Swan River (current home of the Monday Market, Lake Baked, and River View Lodge).

This Thursday, April 30, Flathead County Commissioners will decide on next steps for Sliter Park.

Please let your voice be heard during the public comment period at 8:30am. You may also email the commissioners at [email protected]. The meeting will be at 800 S Main Street.

At this time, the board of Flathead County Parks and Recreation is recommending the Flathead County not renew the lease for Sliter Park.

We are currently preparing for all outcomes, and we thank you for your support of this treasured Bigfork park.
