Flathead Southerners Montana is home now, and we love it. Although we've wandered far from the 'Old Country', there is still a desire in us to keep what makes us Southern, Southern!

From fried catfish to football, it's about keeping our roots, culture & traditions alive! HEY Y'ALL! I'm Bill McGuffie, a native of Mississippi. I'm founder, organizer, host & emcee of the annual Flathead Southerners Catfish Fry & Gatherin'. The event is fully catered using authentic Southern recipes! ty. After graduating from the Univ. of Southern Miss., I moved to Dallas, Texas for 20 years. After visiting God's Country, Montana's beautiful Flathead Valley, in April 1992 for 2 weeks... I've never left! ALL Y'ALL are invited to attend our annual event held on every LAST SUNDAY IN JUNE! You don't HAVE to be "Southern" to attend, but it helps you to understand the jokes! Y'all come now ya hear!
