Loon Lake 4-H Camp Gifted to the Flathead 4-H Foundation in 1966 by George & Lycia Hepburn in memory of their son Fred Hepburn.

Lodge and Cabins are available for 4-H activities, youth camps, family reunions, various events and vacation rentals through AirBnB. The Darren E Fenner Loon Lake 4-H Camp was founded in 1979 and consists of 13 unique cabins and a Lodge all overlooking the beautiful 45 acre Loon Lake in Bigfork, MT. All proceeds from cabin rentals, reunions and events are reinvested to benefit the Flathead 4-H Fou

ndation and are used to provide scholarships for 4-H kids to attend camp as well as to improve and maintain the property for future 4-H camps. The entire Flathead 4-H community offers you our deepest gratitude for supporting our youth by choosing to stay with us at Loon Lake!

Watch as Flathead 4-H Foundation board member and Loon Lake 4-H Camp’s own Executive Director Jill Kahanek highlights the impact participating in last year’s Great Fish Community Challenge has had on our existing programs and how it has allowed us to support new ones like our new 4-H Sports Fishing Project! Thank you to Whitefish Community Foundation for inviting us to join for a second year in the Challenge, which starts this Tuesday August 11, and for helping us to make the best better for our 4-H youth! 🍀 We are so proud to be a part of this incredible opportunity along with 88 other nonprofits doing such amazing work here in the Flathead Valley! 🙌

We've just hosted our first formal event of the season!

Trent and Caitlin were wed on the shores of Loon Lake surrounded by their family and close knit community of fellow smokejumpers. Their photographer, Pete Redel Photography, shared some breathtaking preview photos with us! The weekend was truly as magical as it looked! We wish them all the happiness in the world and most amazing adventures together as they being their next chapter as husband and wife. 💚🍀💚
