September is known for being the official month for many wonderful causes.

Addiction recovery is one of those causes.

Millions are affected by addiction and everyday more and more people begin their recovery journey!

We encourage you to add those in recovery to your daily prayer list, not just in September, but throughout the year.

We pray for them to have the support they need to have a successful journey. We pray that they know they are loved and treasured for the person they are and that their addiction doesn’t define them.

We pray for those in recovery, regardless of whether they are taking their first steps or have been traveling the road for decades.

We will be returning to Recovery Fest on Saturday, Sept 12, 1:00-5:00 pm, at Miner’s Park, Big Stone Gap.

We are so honored to be invited to return each year with our water ministry! It’s an amazing opportunity to meet and speak with those in addiction recovery and hear their stories.

We will be handing out waters, books, and more!

We’ll also bring our plush Jesus. He enjoyed Recovery Fest last year and we’ll have him again this year. Stop by and take a selfie with Jesus!

If you would like to help with Recovery Fest, please let Christy Smith know. You can stay for the whole 4 hours or just a little bit of it.
