💜 September is Su***de Prevention Month 💜

This month, Erase PTSD Now is helping shine a light on an important message: you don’t have to struggle alone.

Trauma, PTSD, and emotional pain can feel overwhelming, but talking about what you’re going through can be the first step toward healing. Reach out to a friend, loved one, mental health professional, or someone you trust.

Your story matters. Your life matters. 💜

If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out for support.

Self-Care Is Not Selfish: Prioritizing Mental Health This September 💙

September is Self-Care Awareness Month, a reminder that taking care of our mental, emotional, and physical well-being is an essential part of living a healthy and balanced life.

For those living with PTSD, trauma, anxiety, or chronic stress, self-care is more than a luxury, it can be an important part of healing and building resilience. Self-care looks different for everyone, but it starts with recognizing our needs and giving ourselves permission to seek support and ask for help.

Here are a few simple ways to practice self-care:

✅ Take time to rest and recharge without guilt.
✅ Practice mindfulness through breathing, meditation, or quiet reflection.
✅ Stay connected with supportive friends, family, and community.
✅ Move your body in ways that bring you joy and reduce stress.
✅ Set healthy boundaries and remember that saying “no” is sometimes an act of self-care.
✅ Reach out for professional support when you need it.

We believe mental health deserves the same attention and care as physical health. Prioritizing self-care helps us show up stronger for ourselves, our families, and our communities.

This September, make yourself a priority. Small steps toward self-care can create meaningful changes in your overall well-being. 💙

ADHD: A Second Nervous System

ADHD can feel like a disability– but it’s not. In fact, in many ways it’s the complete opposite. From quick thinking to problem solving, ADHD can look more like a superpower than a “disorder”.

💚 Testimonial Thursday 💚

“Sleeping was a thing I was afraid of. Now, it’s becoming a close friend. The hot flashes have disappeared at night. As we traveled home after treatment, the outside world was bright—and continues to get brighter.

I’m over a month out and shocked daily by how well the SGB worked for me. I catch myself doing things that, before, I had no mental or physical energy for. I’m excited for my future now.”

— Cindy K., SGB Patient

Our mission is focused on expanding access to effective PTSD treatment but caring for people also means recognizing the everyday challenges that affect their stability, independence, and well-being. Through community partnerships, Erase PTSD Now is proud to help connect bicycles with veterans, their children, and local families.

Because healing is strengthened when communities show up for one another and sometimes, hope arrives on two wheels. 💚🚲
