Snow Angel Foundation Inc Education that makes mountains safer. Preventing ski & snowboard collisions through education.

The Snow Angel Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to preventing ski and snowboard collisions through education. We work with students, skiers, instructors, patrollers, and industry leaders to promote safer behavior on the mountain and build a culture of awareness and responsibility. Founded in Elise’s memory, the Snow Angel Foundation believes education is the key to prevention — so everyone can ride another day.

Kelli went to her hair appointment at Nu Vogue Salon in Thermopolis Wy ❤️ …

and found the magazine feature sitting right there.

She had only seen it online until this moment.

Since then, this story has traveled farther than we imagined — and brought so many of you here.

If it moved you too, you can support the mission at the link in bio.

Chauncy wanted to share a more personal response to the video we posted a couple of weeks ago.

That video has now reached nearly 3 million people, and the response has been overwhelming.

Some supportive.
Some critical.
But most importantly — it started a conversation about safety on the mountain.

This work is deeply personal for our family.

At the Snow Angel Foundation, our mission has always been simple: Help ensure that more people Ride Another Day.

If you believe in making skiing and snowboarding safer for everyone, we invite you to support this work.

We’ve set up a GoFundMe to help expand mountain safety education and awareness efforts across the country.

Every contribution helps us reach more riders with a message that can truly save lives.

Thank you for being part of this conversation.

Many of you saw the video we posted earlier this week.

It’s now been viewed nearly 2 million times, and the response has been overwhelming.

Some people were shocked.
Some were angry.
Many shared stories of collisions they’ve experienced themselves.

The reality is that collisions like this happen every season, and many of them are preventable.

That’s why the Snow Angel Foundation promotes a simple message:

Ski & Ride R.A.D.

Ready — ski and ride in control
Alert — stay aware of your surroundings
Distance — give others space to react safely

If more riders followed these three principles, the mountain would be safer for everyone.

So today we’re inviting you to help us spread that message.

We’ve launched a campaign called March RADness, where riders everywhere can help promote responsible riding and support mountain safety education.

If this video struck a nerve for you, we invite you to join us.

A concerned father shared this video with the Snow Angel Foundation after his 5-year-old son was struck by an adult snowboarder while skiing and asked if we would use it to raise awareness.

Thankfully, both involved were okay—but moments like this remind us how quickly things can happen on the mountain.

We frequently talk about skiing & riding R.A.D. R-eady to stop at any time, A-lert to avoid objects, trees, and other ⛷️ & 🏂 and D-instance yourself for ample time to react to those below you.

Let’s look out for one another so everyone can Ride Another Day.
