We hosted a private showing of Big Mountain Soul: Ski Africa! This group embarked on an extraordinary journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Morocco, carving new trails in the world of Ski Mountaineering.

One of our alumna and members, Shane Cloverdale was part of this incredible crew! We’re so excited to get to share this film with our Big Sky scholarship event attendees tonight!!

We’re hosting a Community Avalanche Foundations Fundraiser! Proceeds from this event will go directly to Women of Winter and our scholarship events.

If you:
❄️ have been looking to explore side-country terrain in the resorts and wanting to learn about avalanche rescue and how beacons work
❄️ are curious about backcountry skiing & riding but aren’t sure if they’re ready to take a full avalanche level 1 course
❄️ want to venture out with friends into the backcountry and want to start learning how to evaluate terrain for avalanches (slope angles, terrain traps, etc), and be a more engaged group member
❄️ would like to know how to find and interpret the avalanche forecast for your area

This course is for YOU!!

This evening + field day session is a great event for folks who are interested in learning more about backcountry and side-country travel and terrain, but aren’t ready to spend $500+ on an Avalanche Level I course. Link in bio to learn more!
