We would really love to pull these two and put them in a Foster home. But we need Foster‘s. Is there anyone out there who would like to share their place for a little while. Reach out. Let HRG know.

🥰🐶🥰 Silver Paws and Golden Hearts (SPGH) would like to say thank you to one special lady, Mary, who sent a gate and bed off of our Amazon wishlist. This gift went straight to help Nancy and Susie to be able to safety go out on a small section for air, sun and grass. It was such a generous gift. The girls love both so much.

Every dollar and donation from our list go directly to helping one of the senior companions. SPGH goes to great lengths matching a senior fur-kid with someone needing companionship. We try to help with vet care: i.e. medication, vet visits and supplies when possible.

We will be having a fundraiser soon and an upcoming auction attached to a yard sale. MTF

“Keeping Pets & Seniors Together, Every Step of the Way.”

Mission Statement
At Silver Paws & Golden Hearts, a program by Hot Rod’s Garage Senior Sanctuary, we believe no senior should ever have to be alone. The program exists to foster meaningful companionship and combat isolation by pairing senior dogs with seniors or individuals who live alone. Rather than operating as a traditional sanctuary or attempting to rescue every dog, our program focuses on proactive, high-impact community support. We maintain a small, intentional group of senior dogs. Our goal, through fundraising and donations, will be to provide (if necessary) food, any medical need and routine-to-comfort vetting so they can remain safely and comfortably in a loving home. By removing the logistical burdens of pet ownership, we ensure both human and fur-kid enjoy unconditional love, comfort, and companionship for as long as they have together.

Please share and help if you can.

Adoptable and Foster Hunting !!
Say hello to:
- Charlie - male, young, JRT mix, looking for a full time companion to love on, no small kids

- Sally- Chi mix; female, young, nervous so no kids, just a lap to lay in, looking for a senior companion

- Archie - Full Siberian Husky; male, young, energy and life of the party guy 🤪

- R***r - GS mix; male, young, smart but crack head 😆 (found with severe leg wound)

- Journey - GS mix; female, young, super sweet and loving, once in a lifetime pup who is fantastic (found with half her hair gone)

🚨 EMERGENCY MEETING OF THE DOGS HAS BEEN CALLED... 🚨

The Misfits gathered around the treat jar and reached a unanimous decision...

🐶 “If humans can spend $30 on pizza and forget where they left the leftovers...”

🐶 “...they can spend $30 to come save our furry butts.”

It’s solid logic. We checked.

So here’s the deal...

✨ Delicious food 🍸 Fabulous drinks 🎶 Music 😂 A room full of people who believe every dog deserves a second chance
..all for just $30!

Meanwhile, Pelé has spent the last three weeks preparing for the ball.

She has: ✔️ Picked her gown. ✔️ Polished her tiara. ✔️ Practiced her red carpet walk. ✔️ Rejected three different treat flavors because they “didn’t pair with the evening.”

She’s become impossible to live with.

Help us justify her diva behavior by showing up! 😂

📅 Friday, October 2, 2026 🕕 6:00 PM 📍 Freedom Point at Liberty Park 🎟️ Tickets are only $30!

Every ticket helps rescue dogs who have been abandoned, abused, neglected, or forgotten.

Come for the laughs. Stay for the memories. Leave knowing you helped change a life.

👑 Pelé says if you don’t come, she’ll assume you had a grooming appointment you couldn’t reschedule. 😂🐾

🎟️ Get your tickets today at www.kayleesisland.com

Every dog has a story. Help write their happy ending. 🐾❤️

Attempt number two.
This time Zoomie is sporting half of a baby burp rag that I cut in half. I sewed the Binky straps to his collar and then connected them. I cut a very small hole for his tail.

I can clean any accidents or have him very a dialer (which he hates) either way I can wash it and then do it again.

My next attempt will be a PVC large tube cute in half with cushion, burp rag and small wheels attached.

Stay tune for this adventure!!

***Transformation Day***
Look at Journey. HRG and Jacks Legacy teamed up to give Journey the best rehab and recovery. She is the sweetest dog ever. Even though she was found is this shape (before picture, in SC) she still gave kisses and wanted love. Happy all day. Knows basic commands and fully vetted.

Journey is looking for someone to continue loving her and giving her the proper care. She has had no health issues. Hair is growing back beautifully. She is one special girl. You may never see another so sweet and gentle.

Reach out to HRG or Jacks Legacy to meet her Journey. SHARE !!!!
Lets find her that right family or companion.
