We are joined this afternoon by Hannah Marie Tatay, Meagan Wozny, Jackson Guthrie, and Chauncey Burghart, all vocal students from the MSU College of Music.

Tuba Bach is excited to welcome MSU Professor of Violin Dmitri Berlinsky and Performance Diploma candidate Noah Mallett on harpsichord for the next installment in our Tuba Bach presents...MSU series! Join us tomorrow, March 22 at 4pm, for a celebration of the baroque, including works by J.S. Bach, as well as recent compositions inspired by the 18th century. Our fourth and final installment in this year's MSU International Piano Exposition series is with Sunah Jeong, a South Korean pianist pursuing her DMA at MSU. Her program tomorrow will feature works by Maurice Ravel and Robert Schumann, bringing some Romantic warmth to our frozen landscape 🥶 Bundle up and join us tomorrow at 4pm at Immanuel, or stay cozy at home and tune in on the livestream!

This week, we are delighted to host Ye-Eun Hyun, a South Korean doctoral candidate in piano whose performing has taken her across three continents. Her program will feature several rarely-heard works by female composers including Clara Schumann, Florence Price, and Ana Sokolovic.

2026 is here, which means it's time for our annual January International Piano Exposition as part of our Tuba Bach presents... MSU College of Music series! We are joined tomorrow (Jan. 4, at 4pm) by Jingwei Yuan, a DMA candidate studying under Professor Eric Zuber, in an eclectic program spanning three centuries, from Domenico Scarlatti to Rachmaninoff. All performances are held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Big Rapids; the program will also be livestreamed.
