Reagan County Toy Drive Bringing our community together to make sure every child and Reagan County experiences the joy of Christmas.

The Reagan County Toy Drive, organized by Reagan County Fire & EMS, was created to bring joy, hope, and a sense of community to families across Reagan County during the holiday season. Our mission is simple — to make sure every child experiences the excitement of Christmas morning, regardless of financial hardship. What started as a small idea within our Fire & EMS family has quickly grown into a community-wide effort, supported by local businesses, organizations, and volunteers who share one goal: to make the season brighter for every child.

Thank you to everyone who checked on neighbors, helped where needed, and took extra care during the recent winter weather. Even when conditions are unpredictable, this community always shows up — and that’s something to be proud of.

As we move forward and take things one day at a time, we’re grateful for calmer moments and the chance to look ahead. 🌤️ Whether winter has more in store or not, our community spirit doesn’t change.

With that in mind, we’re already beginning to look ahead and plan for the 2026 Reagan County Toy Drive, with a kickoff planned for October 2026. We’re excited to keep building on what this community continues to make possible.

🚨❄️ Winter Weather Heads-Up, Reagan County! ❄️🚨

We’re expected to see very cold temps, possible slick roads, plus possible power outages this weekend in Big Lake and across Reagan County.

Here are a few quick reminders to help keep your family safe:

✅ Protect your pipes: cover outdoor faucets, disconnect hoses, open sink cabinets, and let faucets drip overnight if temps drop below freezing.
✅ Check on neighbors: elderly friends & families may need help with water, heaters, or supplies.
✅ Travel smart: best is to stay home if you can. If you must travel, slow down and be extra careful roads get icy fast, be cautious— bridges and overpasses freeze first.
✅ Pets need protection too: bring them inside or make sure they have warm shelter + unfrozen water.
🌨️ Keep informed on the changing weather and news.
