BIG LAKE CHAMBER GUN RAFFLE WINNER!

Congratulations to Meriah Herren, the lucky winner of our Big Lake Chamber of Commerce Gun Raffle!

Meriah, owner of Explore AK Services and the Big Lake Pike Derby’s main sponsor for two years running, immediately offered to donate the gun back to the Chamber for additional fundraising when her ticket was drawn.

While we deeply appreciate her generosity, we insisted she keep it! She has already given so much to our community, and we wanted her to be able to take it home and truly enjoy the win.

A BIG thank you to Doug Massie for generously donating the firearm for this raffle. We sincerely appreciate his support of the Big Lake Chamber and our community.

We also want to recognize and sincerely thank American Legion Post 35 for their support and for helping make this fundraiser possible.

Come on down to the 2nd Annual Big Lake Pike Derby!

So far, we have 120 fishermen registered, and we’re just getting started! Come join us for a fun day on the water and help us make this year’s derby even bigger and better!

A huge THANK YOU to Explore AK Services for their incredible sponsorship and support. We truly couldn’t do this without them! And let’s not forget the 20 HP Mercury motor they donated for our 1st Place Adult winner along with all cash prizes!

We also want to give a special shoutout to The Perfect Start Espresso & Roastery for sponsoring the first 20 youth entries, making those registrations FREE for our young anglers!

Great news for the 2nd Annual Big Lake Pike Derby on July 25th. A GIGANTIC thank you to Perfect Start Espresso & Roastery in Big Lake for generously sponsoring the first 20 youth registrations!

That means the first 20 youth anglers (14 and under) will receive FREE entry to the derby!!

This is what community is all about. Local businesses investing in our youth, encouraging families to get outdoors, and helping create lasting memories on the water.

Let’s celebrate our nation’s birthday, Big Lake style!

Join us Friday, July 3, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Jordan Lake Park for an afternoon of community, patriotism, and fun.

Enjoy live music, the Boy Scout Color Guard, free hot dogs, a bouncy house, and more! A special program featuring our elected officials and community leaders will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Come check out all the exciting improvements at Jordan Lake Park, bring your family and friends, and help us celebrate together.
