Travelin Tom’s coffee truck is heading to Big Lake Wednesday May 6. They will be at the elementary from 730- 830 then at North Park for Color Run from 915-1.

PTA started off Teacher Appreciation Week with a Dirty Soda Bar today!! Thank you teachers and staff for working so hard this school year!!

PTA had its 3rd Talent show this year. I am always amazed at how hard the kids work on their performance and the courage it takes to go up on stage to sing/act/dance in front of an audience. I hope everyone enjoyed the talent show this year we have a lot of brave and talented students at RCES.
I didn’t get very many pictures, as I run around everywhere, but here are a few pictures from this years talent show.

A big SHOUT OUT to the middle school student council for stopping by this afternoon and making 3rd - 5th grade snow cones for crushing the STAAR test this year. The kids did about 200 snow cones in 15 minutes. Thank you Middle School Student Council for working hard and helping the elementary celebrate the end of testing. Everyone showed what OWL PRIDE represents, good luck next week on your math tests.

REAGAN COUNTY ELEMENTARY PTA has decided to hold a Read-A-Thon this year!

Read-A-Thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.

Our Read-A-Thon starts Friday April 24, 2026.

About one week before our Read-A-Thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.

We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/NwYwlJ/1?utm=email and following the simple instructions.

We've chosen Read-A-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills.

We hope EVERYONE participates.
