With heavy hearts and tears in our eyes IRA has to say goodbye to one of our biggest supporters over all the years, Mr. Todd Hardwick. RIP Todd Hardwick and thank you for everything.
In the early years of IRA 2004-2012 Todd was a big part of keeping IRAs tracks clean, safe and race ready. I remember many days when Janey and I would run down to the post office or the store in the afternoon and would run over to the track, because i couldn't stay away and guess who we would find, Todd. WATCHA doing Todd i would ask, you know he would reply, shaping things up. Funny thing about this story it would be Tuesday or Wednesday and IRA was not be racing for 11 days still. The 2012 one day 500 miler in front of Burkeshore Marina would have never been possible without Todd. The 2015 two day 500 miler would have never happened without Todd. You all get the picture no point in going on.🥲

RIP Todd Hardwick

More recently IRA has been struggling some with guess what SNOW. IRA is trying a little different approach this year, that is blowing some snow instead of plowing it all. So IRA has to thank Frankie Harris for securing us a high flow skid steer with a blower so IRA can try and move some snow. Frankie was also one of the three that started this club in 2004.

IRA and ASSLC first kids race is in the books. Great day of fun and racing, three little ones on 120s and five pretty awesome racers on 200s. We had a few get offs but everyone is good, only seen one upset kid all day and that was because he either scratched or broke his helmet and was worried about Joe from Alaska House of Yamaha were he got the helmet, being upset with him.
