Hi Laurie,
We need your help to get voters ready to make their voices heard. But with so much election information coming at you, we know it can be hard not to tune out.
The good news: National Voter Education Week makes it easy to help voters in your community feel confident casting their ballots!
Explore AAUW's toolkit for free flyers and social posts, trusted voter information tools, and ideas for how to reach voters in your community. Each day offers a simple way to get started:
Monday: Check your voter registration. Check your status with VOTE411, a one-stop shop for voting info from our partners at the League of Women Voters. AAUW’s toolkit has a flyer you can share to help others check or update their registration.
Tuesday: Get to know your ballot. VOTE411 also lets you see what’s on your ballot. Use the toolkit’s handouts or plan a ballot research party or trivia night to help others explore theirs.
Wednesday: Make a plan to vote. Being registered doesn’t always mean getting to the polls. The toolkit has a flyer to help voters decide when, where, and how they’ll cast their ballots.
Thursday: Understand the process. The toolkit includes a handout on spotting misinformation, ideas for a community Q&A, and a flyer on voters’ rights at the polls.
Friday: Share with friends and family! Use the toolkit’s sample social posts, forward this email, or invite a friend to make a voting plan with you.
