Tomorrow is the Wednesday night "small ring recovery ride". Ride starts from Maggio's at 5 pm. Route is usually North Shore to the dam and back.

A great start to the 2026 riding season here in Big Bear! Thanks to all who came out and joined us. We had a mix of road, gravel and mountain bikers. See you on the trails!

USFS/Big Bear Mountain Resort Expansion: The proposed projects include expanding and connecting Bear Mountain and Snow Summit permitted boundaries, constructing approximately 77 acres of ski trails, installing summer activities – including 12 new mountain biking trails, a zipline system, and a mountain coaster, implementing miscellaneous grading and tree clearing on existing ski trails, grading at the top and bottom of existing and new lift terminals, constructing a new beginner pod, installation of a snowmaking pond at Snow Summit, installation of new snowmaking infrastructure, grading a new summer mountain road on Bear Mountain, and installing two new lifts with an adjoining ski bridge and a slight reroute of an existing forest road.

May 26, 2026 – The San Bernardino National Forest has finalized the analysis for the Big Bear Mountain Resort Master Development Plan (MDP), originally drafted in 2020. Big Bear Mountain Resort operates on the forest under the existing Big Bear and Snow Summit special use permits (SUP).
