On Saturday January 20th, the March for Life was held entirely at Our Lady Queen of Angels Cathedral in Los Angeles, CA.

This is one the biggest Knights of Columbus events in the western U.S. and followers of ALL major faiths, plus secular organizations opposed to abortion, make the trip to attend.

This year the actual march was cancelled to reduce the need for law enforcement and other first responders who were desperately needed for the fires in North L.A.

Below are a few photos highlighted by the traditional candles representing the actual number of children killed on that Saturday alone, in Los Angeles, by abortion.

Please pray to end this barbaric practice.

MARCH FOR LIFE is this Saturday but the event will NOT include the walk. From the event Organizers:

"Dear OneLife LA Family,

Considering the devastation of the recent wildfires and the struggle and pain that has impacted the people of Los Angeles, we decided to modify our OneLife LA event location and schedule for Saturday, January 18, 2025. The event will now be entirely at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels *without the walk portion* to alleviate any law enforcement and safety personnel that would have been required for such a large-scale event. By moving the event to Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, we will provide a sacred space to gather as communities across Southern California, united in prayer and mission."

So, for those of us concerned about physical limitations that make walking difficult, the entire event is inside the Cathedral.

If you want to attend, just set your GPS to the "Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, Los Angeles". It starts at 1 PM and you should leave Big Bear no later than 10:30 to 11 AM.

(Please indicate "Los Angeles" for your GPS directions because there are other "Our Lady of the Angels" churches in Southern California.)

A parking structure is on the property right next to the Cathedral. I can't recall the cost for parking but I don't think it was more than $20 last year. (If it was, I'd remember! 😉)

Below is the schedule. If you will be late please don't worry. This event normally has speakers and music before the walk and MASS isn't until 5PM. Attire is casual but appropriate for Mass.
