Lead poisoning is a serious health risk for young children. Kids under 3 are especially vulnerable because they spend more time on the floor and frequently put their hands and toys in their mouths.
Lead poisoning can be symptomless, so it’s important to test your children. Maine CDC guidelines require lead testing at ages 1 and 2 to help protect your child’s health.
