Denver, we had a blast ⛰️ Last week, MOB headed west to Outside Days alongside Visit Maine and Maine Office of Outdoor Recreation to promote Maine as a wonderful place to live, work, and play.

We joined a career fair hosted by Basecamp Outdoor Jobs where we had many great conversations with rad people interested in building a career in the outdoors.

And a huge shoutout to MOB Member James Merrill for pitching Opolis Optics in the Ignite Pitch Competition!

Last night’s MOB Scene was a blast! A heartfelt thank you to the Town of Rumford and Inland Woods + Trails for being such wonderful hosts.

We got to walk the newly opened Rumford Community Forest 🌲 and hear from the people pouring their hearts into this community — weaving together outdoor recreation, entrepreneurship, and rural revitalization in a way that left us inspired.

To everyone who showed up, shared a slice 🍕, and brought your energy and ideas — thank you. This community never fails to show up for each other, and last night was a great reminder of why we keep doing this.

Join us at camp! MOB Summer Camp is a gathering designed to bring the Maine Outdoor Brands community together for connection, learning, and time outside.

Open to current MOB members as well as any brands & individuals interested in becoming members, MOB Summer Camp offers a mix of networking, industry discussions, shared meals, and guided outdoor activities — including fly fishing, packrafting, gravel biking, and hiking.

We can’t wait to gather for a few days of conversation, adventure, and summer camp fun!

The outdoors attracts business! For Lazy Sun, a heritage outdoor & vintage clothing store, moving from Utah back to their Northeast roots in 2025 was a big leap. But what they found in Maine was a small business community rooted in support, excitement, and shared success: “It genuinely feels like if one of us wins, then everyone wins.”
