Our August MOB Scene is in partnership with Shred Electric at Sea Meadow Marine to learn more about how they’re electrifying the working waterfront in Maine.

From e-boat motors to electric refrigeration, they’re committed to stewarding a healthier planet and cleaner ocean ecosystem. We’ll get a tour of their facilities and an introduction to their work.

Wow, we are still glowing from the inaugural MOB Summer Camp. The idea for a “summer camp” started last year, so to see it come to life felt pretty amazing. What a fun couple days of energizing conversations and outdoor play in the Moosehead Region.

To all the attendees, thank you for exemplifying the supportive and collaborative spirit of Maine’s outdoor industry. This truly is a special community we get to be a part of.

Shoutout to our activity guides New England Fly Company - Fly Fishing Guides Based in Maine Sarah Holman AMC Maine Packraft Maine — ya’ll are some of the best in the biz.

And a massive thanks to Jeremy, Derek, and the rest of the Northeast Whitewater staff for being the best hosts (and chefs!) we could ask for.

Last week, we made our way to Switchback in New Orleans! Good people, good energy, good show.

Events like this get Maine’s outdoor brands in the same room as retail buyers, collaborators, and the broader industry. There’s something that happens when you show up together that you just can’t replicate from behind a screen.
