TOMORROW!!

Did you hear?! We will be running a community mile event on Saturday October 17th! There is no charge to run in this, but we are asking that participants bring a new hygiene product or canned/non-perishable good to help our various community partners stock their shelves (a full list can be found on our registration page which is linked in our bio). Costumes are HIGHLY encouraged! Rumor also has it that we will have free donuts, bagels, and refreshments AND that Slugger the Sea Dog will be making a visit for what promises to be a fun morning! 💙🩵👻🎃

Thanks to our friends at the and the for including us in their race this weekend! We had some volunteers at the finish and helped with their shoe recycling program. Chris and Ashley showed up as the dedicated volunteer staff was still breaking down the finish area and sorted through roughly 100 pairs of shoes that runners brought to the expo into three distinct groups: barely loved (will go to a local high school or middle school runner), not too loved (in good shape; we will distribute these to community groups and PE teachers), well-loved (lacking any tread, beat-up; have seen many miles; these will be recycled through ).

This is one of the amazing ways that various community groups and non-profits can come together and get shoes to those in need AND help keep shoes out of landfills! 🩵♻️💙 Congratulations to the Maine Track Club for another amazing race weekend! The Maine Marathon is truly a community driven event that we are thankful to be a part of.
