The Knox County Public Library asked me for some pictures and I gave those as well as a few more items and they did a display honoring the Open Class Showcase, Knox County Fair Grand Champions. It will up in the Library until the end of the month. Emily was pleased that we had a special thanks to the library on our contributors poster. The Library has hosted the Superintendent meetings for the last 4 years, beginning in March and running through August. Thank you to them for supporting us and the Knox County Fair. Stop in and see our display!

We had a great week in the Open Class Showcase, Knox County Fair! We had fantastic exhibits, great demonstrations, wonderful kiddie craft days and so much fun! Thank you to all that exhibited, visited, participated, sponsored, volunteered, brought your kids, bought a raffle ticket, bid on the silent auction, and told us how they liked what they saw! Thank you to the Superintendents who have spent the last year working on making the C.James McCormick Event Center at the Knox County Fair a great place to be. We have already started working on 2027!

Today is the last day for bidding on the great Silent Auction items. Some of the items are pictured here. Bidding is open until 10:00 pm. Come in and support the Open Class Showcase at the Knox County Fair!

Things are happening at the Open Class Showcase at the Knox County Fair on Thursday, July 30! Starting at 1:00, our Grand Champion Decorative Artist will be demonstrating her expertise in Gourd Art. And from 4:30 to 6:30, we will have more Children's Craft Activities, including 10 different projects for kids of all ages! Come see us at the C. James McCormick Event Center!

AND, while you are there, look at and bid on Silent Auction Items, purchase a quilt raffle ticket, vote for the People's Choice award for your favorite Champions, look over the Stash Buster sale and view the excellent talents of the many exhibitors to the Open Class Showcase.

We had such a great time celebrating Watermelon Mania at the Knox County Fair in the Open Class Showcase with our Kiddie Watermelon Crafts. It was wonderful to see so many people and activities at the Fairgrounds. Thank-you to the Illiana Watermelon Association and the Knox County Fair Board for bringing so much excitement to the Knox County Fair.
