Headbands for Hunger Bexley Knitters making a difference. Fundraising for the Mid Ohio Foodbank and Bexley Food Assistance Program. 100% of donations given to organizations.

Headbands for Hunger:
Bexley Knitters fundraising for the Mid-Ohio Foodbank to provide food for Ohioans who have inconsistent access to nutritious food. You can help by making a $20 to $25 donation and in turn receive a hand knitted Headbands for Hunger headband or other yarn craft item. 100% of the headbands are donated. 100% of the money is donated. You can donate and receive a headband at on

e of our local fundraising events or by emailing: [email protected]. We currently have a limited supply, but more will be available as fast as we can knit them. Did you know ~
· 1 in every 6 Ohioans lives in house holds with inconsistent food supply.
· 1 in every 4 children in Ohio don’t have access for enough food,
· Increasing amount of working people need assistance from food banks,
· Only 5% of people who use food banks are homeless,
· Ohioans have to choose between buying food and paying their mortgage, or have their heat on, or pay for their utilities. http://www.midohiofoodbank.org

We had a successful fundraiser for DARN’s Food Program and the Mid Ohio Foodbank. We raised $450🙌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽. Really appreciate everyone who donated a yarn craft item and for those who made donations. I am so grateful to live in a community of caring and generous people. This money will provide many meals to children, elderly, men, women and teens who may otherwise go hungry without caring neighbors like YOU💕
