Books For Bedtime

Books For Bedtime Meagan founded Books For Bedtime in 2014, at age 11. This non profit provides books in the Columbus, Ohio area for less fortunate children.

This non profit was started by Meagan when she was 11 years old. Meagan is an active member of Mensa, and began reading at age 2. As she got older, she realized that books were such an integral part of her life, and wanted to help every child have a book to read for bed, hence Books For Bedtime was founded! Her goal is to get books to children who do not have the financial means to have a lot of b

ooks. Meagan collects books for children from birth to age 17! She is distributing books around Columbus, Ohio, working with schools with high free lunch program counts, as well as homeless shelters. She is hoping to expand as her non profit grows. She is eager to find connections to other agencies with whom she can partner, in order to distribute books! As of January 2021, Meagan has distributed nearly 101,000 books to children in need! Notes of Honor:

May, 2015 Books For Bedtime received 501c3 tax exempt status from the IRS! May, 2015 Meagan found out that she was a regional winner for the Kohl's Cares Scholarship Contest! She will be receiving a $1,000 scholarship for college. April 2016 Meagan became a Jefferson Award winner

May 2016 Meagan became the Prudential Spirit of Community middle level winner for Ohio!
