Welcome and thank you all for liking the Bevier Black Diamond page! Here is a brief description of our history and the intentions for the page. The Bevier Black Diamond Historical Preservation Organization was formed over twenty years ago to honor and preserve Bevier's rich history as a bustling coal mining town. Unfortunately, in November of 2012, a fire took two of Bevier's oldest build
ings on Main Street...The Pear Tree Restaurant and the Black Diamond Museum. Despite many brave citizens grabbing what they could out of the museum, many of Bevier's historical artifacts were destroyed. Although this was a devastating blow to the community and this organization, we will dust ourselves off and move forward. This page was created to keep the citizens of Bevier, past and present, up to date on the future of the Black Diamond Museum/Organization and the efforts to restore Bevier memorabilia along with the efforts of the community to rebuild it's beloved Main Street. It will also act as an "online" museum which will include pictures and stories of Bevier's history as they become available. Thank you all for your support!
