I am a Girl Scout. I am a Mom to a Girl Scout. I am a Girl Scout Leader.
I don't get paid to be a Girl Scout...I pay to be a volunteer for Girl Scouts.
I pay for the wear and tear on my tires and vehicle.
I pay for the gas.
I pay for the supplies and extras for the girls in the troop.
I pay with my time preparing for meetings, keeping track of cookies or nuts and candy, driving back and forth to pick up cookies, trading cookies or setting up and tearing down cookie booths.
I pay with my lack of sleep doing the accounting and organizing.
My family pays when I attend meetings, prepare for meetings and stay up late working on scouts.
My family pays because I have piles of paperwork, boxes and supplies around the house, making it messy because scouts come first.
My family pays because cookie season takes so much of my free time, tax season gets pushed to the back burner.
I am a Girl Scout. I am a Mom to a Girl Scout. I am a Girl Scout Leader. I am because I know Girl Scouts is important.
Girl Scouts encourages girls to try new things.
Girl Scouts encourages girls to get their hands dirty.
Girl Scouts encourages girls to stop with their electronics and talk with each other.
Girl Scouts encourages girls to help themselves, help each other and help their community.
Girl Scouts encourages girls to be better and do better.
Girl Scouts encourages girls to be leaders, to share their ideas.
Girl Scouts encourages girls to go camping, go fishing and try archery.
Girl Scouts encourages girls to be brave, strong and dedicated.
I am a Girl Scout, but could not be without the sacrifices that my family makes, and their support.
Thank you to all the Girl Scouts. *Copied but could have said these words myself ❤*
