Rock your Girl Scout swag.
On Tuesday, May 15, show the world what a Girl Scout really looks like! Rock your Girl Scout sash, pair a Girl Scout tee or tie with your blazer for the office, or head to your local council shop to get some Girl Scout gear.

No Girl Scout swag? No problem. Wear green on Tuesday to show your support for the organization that helps girls grow into the leaders we need.

Hi Everyone, We had our service unit monthly meeting tonight and came away with some ideas for activities for the girls. One that we are pretty excited about is a "Where Can Girl Scouts Take You? Fair" We want to show girls they can be anything they want to be: heart surgeon, FBI detective, a soldier, whatever they want. We are also planning a fun run. And possible a service unit overnight at Camp Maude Eaton. Interested in helping with any of these? Feel free to let me know.

What do we do when Spring just won't show up? Our Cadettes and their siblings go to the mall for a scavenger hunt 😊

I am a Girl Scout. I am a Mom to a Girl Scout. I am a Girl Scout Leader.

I don't get paid to be a Girl Scout...I pay to be a volunteer for Girl Scouts.

I pay for the wear and tear on my tires and vehicle.
I pay for the gas.
I pay for the supplies and extras for the girls in the troop.
I pay with my time preparing for meetings, keeping track of cookies or nuts and candy, driving back and forth to pick up cookies, trading cookies or setting up and tearing down cookie booths.
I pay with my lack of sleep doing the accounting and organizing.

My family pays when I attend meetings, prepare for meetings and stay up late working on scouts.
My family pays because I have piles of paperwork, boxes and supplies around the house, making it messy because scouts come first.
My family pays because cookie season takes so much of my free time, tax season gets pushed to the back burner.

I am a Girl Scout. I am a Mom to a Girl Scout. I am a Girl Scout Leader. I am because I know Girl Scouts is important.

Girl Scouts encourages girls to try new things.
Girl Scouts encourages girls to get their hands dirty.
Girl Scouts encourages girls to stop with their electronics and talk with each other.
Girl Scouts encourages girls to help themselves, help each other and help their community.
Girl Scouts encourages girls to be better and do better.
Girl Scouts encourages girls to be leaders, to share their ideas.
Girl Scouts encourages girls to go camping, go fishing and try archery.
Girl Scouts encourages girls to be brave, strong and dedicated.

I am a Girl Scout, but could not be without the sacrifices that my family makes, and their support.

Thank you to all the Girl Scouts. *Copied but could have said these words myself ❤*
