Membership dues are $10/individual, $20/family, and $50/business.

Big history happened in Ward 2! Come celebrate the reading of the Declaration of Independence today at (you guessed it), Independence Park!

Gather at 5:30pm
Reading begins at 6pm

As we honor America’s 250th anniversary, community history comes alive.

On July 17, Historic Beverly invites the public to Independence Park to recreate a historic milestone: the public proclamation of the Declaration of Independence on the very parade grounds where Colonel John Glover's regiment and local citizens first gathered in 1776. Come reflect on the enduring words of liberty in a beautiful waterfront setting.

Thank you to Troop 4 for giving us a head-start on the clean-up at Gillis Park. They had a schedule conflict for the planned cleanup on June 14, so they came a week early to participate! Troop 4 always does a great job!

Thanks to everyone who supported the clean-up at Bartlett Gardens park this morning! It was quite a party with lemonade and homemade cupcakes to celebrate a successful 8 bag cleanup!

Happy to report far fewer cigarette butts, but an uptick in improperly disposed tires. Last year, we found 1 tire at our cleanup, this year we found 2! Next time, fingers crossed for zero tires. 😉
