This Christmas, stories were shared, memories were honored, and legacies were lovingly written. 🎄✨
Through our Silver Readers Circle, our seniors create books drawn from their own lives — their history, their wisdom, their voices. Each page is a reminder that every story matters and deserves to be preserved.
This collage captures more than a moment — it captures a lifetime.
We are deeply grateful to walk alongside our elders as they turn memories into living legacies. Board members and sharing this moment along side our faithful and dedicated volunteers. Click the link in bio to donate and volunteer.

We are beyond excited to announce that has joined the CFB Foundation team as our new Director of Programs! 🎉

Jennifer’s journey to the foundation is rooted in compassion, connection, and a deep commitment to making a difference. Her path began in Grade 4 when her teacher chose her to assist a special needs student, Mary, diagnosed with autism. This experience sparked a lasting bond and ignited Jennifer’s passion for service, showing her that compassion was not just a value, but something natural to her.

Her devotion grew as she witnessed her mother’s selflessness, opening their home to two young girls facing hardship. Her mother’s words—“you will always have a home with us”—taught Jennifer the power of kindness and unconditional love.

In 2010, Jennifer returned to her small hometown in Northern Ontario to care for her mother, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and given only two weeks to live. During that time, Jennifer ensured her mother’s comfort and shared precious moments together. This profound experience of care and honoring others’ legacies led Jennifer to a career working with seniors, volunteering, and ensuring no one felt forgotten.

Jennifer’s decision to join the CFB Foundation as Director of Programs is a natural next step. She is passionate about creating initiatives that honor and enhance the lives of seniors, helping them feel valued and celebrated. We are truly honored to have Jennifer as part of our team and are confident that her heart for service will make a profound impact on our foundation and the community we serve. 💚

The C.F.B. Foundation is delighted to welcome Karen Adams to our advisory team!

Her dedication to improving the lives of others, particularly the elderly, perfectly aligns with the foundation’s mission to promote dignity, care, and respect.

Karen’s commitment to the elderly is deeply personal, stemming from her experience with her late mother, a trailblazing woman who was the first female advertising executive at Revlon. In her final years, her mother spent much of her time in a nursing home, a painful reminder of how aging often strips individuals of dignity. This experience has fueled Karen’s drive to make a difference for seniors in need of better care and respect.

Karen’s career has been centered around health, fitness, and beauty. A New York native and certified trainer at Bally’s Total Fitness, she quickly rose through the ranks to become part of the Executive Management Team, helping to launch prominent fitness clubs like Crunch and Equinox. Later, she pursued a new path alongside Dr. Michelle Zweifler, a renowned plastic surgeon, where she combined her passion for beauty and well-being to empower individuals to feel confident in their own skin.

After relocating to the West Coast, Karen continues to dedicate herself to making a difference, whether through her work in health and beauty or her advocacy for the elderly.

Karen’s dedication remains unwavering.
By supporting the C.F.B. Foundation, she believes we can ensure that every elderly individual is treated with the dignity, respect, and care they deserve. 💚

We are thrilled to welcome a Television Host, Journalist, Model, Actress, Fitness Dance Instructor, and Beauty Pageant Winner from Peru to the CFB Foundation!

Gloria’s journey began at 14 in modeling, and by 17, she was hosting her own TV show in Peru. Alongside her career, she earned a degree in Communications, pursued acting, and at 21, competed in the “Miss Peru” pageant. After moving to the U.S., Gloria reinvented herself, working as a journalist for Latino TV shows, modeling for top brands, and even earning a Professional Excellence Award at the White House in 2024. Most recently, she was crowned “Ms. Beverly Hills 2024.”

Her most profound inspiration came from her grandparents, who raised her with values of hard work, compassion, and respect for others, especially elders. Gloria had the privilege of caring for them in their later years, giving back the love and wisdom they had shown her. This experience deeply shaped her passion for supporting the senior community.

Gloria’s desire to give back extends beyond her personal story—she teaches senior fitness classes to enhance mobility and joy within senior facilities. Her connection to the CFB Foundation stems from her commitment to honoring the legacy of her grandparents by making a positive impact on the lives of seniors. Through her involvement, she hopes to continue spreading love, care, and empowerment to those who have given so much to the world.

Her decision to join the CFB Foundation comes from a deep personal connection and gratitude. Being raised by her grandparents gave her a unique perspective on the importance of family, care, and support for the elderly. By giving back, she is not only honoring their legacy, but also helping ensure that others can enjoy the same quality of life they deserved.

With Gloria’s passion for supporting our seniors shaped by her own experiences inspires and uplifts those we serve. We are incredibly proud to have Gloria join us in our mission to make seniors feel loved, valued, and cared for. 💚
