Today, we commemorate Juneteenth — a day that marks the delayed but powerful declaration of freedom for enslaved Black Americans in 1865.
As a Black-led nonprofit, we recognize that Juneteenth is not just about the past — it’s about the continued fight for liberation, equity, and justice in our communities.
We celebrate the strength, brilliance, and resilience of our ancestors, and we recommit to building a future where Black voices are heard, Black needs are prioritized, and Black lives are truly free.
✊🏿 Freedom isn’t symbolic — it’s systemic, it’s structural, and it’s overdue.
