We meet Mondays at 12:00pm in the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The Rotary Club of Beverly Hills contains a diverse group of professional leaders from the community, and these leaders take an active role in the community while greatly enriching their personal lives. Membership in the Rotary Club of Beverly Hills offers a number of benefits:

Rotary Mondays✨What a special treat to hear Vijay Gupta perform live for our club. Vijay is an acclaimed violinist, inspired story teller, Mac Arthur Fellow and the founding Artistic Director of Street Symphony.

Street Symphony is a nonprofit that brings music into shelters, clinics, jails and reentry spaces across Los Angeles. He has shared the power of music to transform lives on stages, campuses, and with companies across the nation. He is the author of the memoir, RESTRUNG.

Rotary Mondays✨It was a packed room to hear our own Beverly Hills club member, Los Angeles County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath, as she updated us on the state of LA County initiatives and her goals for the 3rd District.

Rotary Mondays ✨ We had the pleasure of hearing from Alan Rothenberg. Rothenberg was president of U.S. Soccer, the governing body of American soccer, during the 1990s and oversaw the 1994 FIFA World Cup and the 1999 Women’s World Cup in the United States and the establishment of Major League Soccer in 1996.

We welcomed new member, Donna Gillman, and celebrated the birthday of beloved member Les Bronte!🎉

Rotary Mondays ✨ A new Rotary year of “Lasting Impact” has begun and it’s been two weeks of firsts. Our newly installed President, Sandy Pressman, was sworn in by Beverly Hills Mayor Craig Corman, who shared his outlook on the City’s future.

We welcomed our first guest speaker, Kim Noltemy, President & CEO of the LA Phil. Our membership grew as we installed our first new member of the year, Sherwin Shamoeil.

Last week we celebrated Dr. Julian Gold’s “reign” as our Club President with a doctor themed demotion party! 🩺 There were paramedics, nurses, an astronaut, skits, props and a lot of laughter! We thank him for an excellent year filled with thought provoking and entertaining guest speakers, advancing our mission through meaningful financial grants awarded to very deserving organizations, and most importantly, strengthening the fellowship among members. Well done! 👏👏👏

The Rotary Club of Beverly Hills presented their annual service awards for individuals who exemplify the attributes of a true Rotarian, always putting service above self.

Cindee Rood received the Stanley Black Award, funded by Janis Black Warner and Doug Warner.
