Ciao Bella,

When Black professionals are pushed out, erased, or dismissed under the language of “merit,” we have to ask: whose merit is being protected—and whose excellence is being questioned?

This moment is bigger than politics. It is about workplace fairness, representation, leadership pipelines, and the generations of Black professionals who fought to have a seat at tables that were never built with us in mind.

We cannot afford to be silent when equity work is reframed as weakness, when diversity is treated like a threat, or when qualified people are dismissed as “DEI hires” instead of respected for the talent, experience, and excellence they bring.

The Bella Network exists for moments like this: to help women understand the hidden curriculum, navigate power with clarity, and protect their professional futures.

Family STEM Quest is more than just a fun day—it’s about sparking curiosity, building confidence, and showing our children what’s possible through science, technology, engineering, and math.

This is a FREE, family-friendly experience where kids (and adults!) can explore, learn, and engage together. If you have children, nieces, nephews, or young people in your life—this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss.

Let’s continue to pour into the next generation and open doors to futures they may not even know exist yet.

There is nothing more powerful than showing up for one another.

Last night, Bella members gathered in love and celebration at the premiere of Birth of the Black Underworld—a film co-produced by one of our very own Bella and her husband. To witness her vision come to life on the big screen was inspiring, but even more meaningful was the presence of community standing beside her.

This is what The Bella Network is all about.
We don’t just talk about support—we show up. We celebrate. We uplift. We champion each other’s dreams until they become reality.

Moments like this remind me that when women come together with intention, purpose, and love… we create something bigger than ourselves.

To our Bella who helped bring this story to life—your work matters, your voice matters, and we are so proud of you.

This Friday, we’ll be in the building at the 7:30 PM showing at The Laemmle Theater in North Hollywood. This is more than a movie—it’s legacy, ownership, and bold storytelling brought to life.
