Today, we celebrate our charter and honor the visionary women whose dedication to friendship and service established the Beverly Hills West (CA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated on May 25, 1985. As a lasting link in a historic chain of distinguished women, we proudly continue a 41 year legacy of impactful community service and sisterhood.

Our new Program Year started with sacred ceremony, self care, community service, and new business. The Beverly Hills West (CA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated looked stunning following the direction of our Western Area to be “Seen in Green!” We started the morning with a beautiful send off for our newest Alumna Member, Glenda Lang. You will see that we were also able to celebrate some of our long-standing members who have 20+ years of service with medallions of commemoration! The morning continued with breakfast fellowship at our Mental Health-centered pre-meet. And we concluded with our first General Meeting for 2026-2027.
As we pause for summer, we carry the spirit of connection forward. Stay tuned for light updates on family moments, fun memories, and the events to come! 💚

The Beverly Hills West (CA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated celebrated new leadership and sisterhood last night! 💚🤍 Our Installation Ceremony, was a beautiful evening filled with connection, celebration, and excitement for the year ahead.
We proudly congratulate our installed officers: Kimberly Freeman, Vice President; Claudia Alleyne, Treasurer; and Nicole Duncan, Corresponding Secretary. Their leadership, dedication, and commitment will help guide our chapter into an outstanding 2026–2027 program year.

Black Family Wellness Expo 2026! What a beautiful day in Venice. Thank you to our vendors, donors, wellness experts, community partners, leaders, and every guest who showed up and made this event so powerful. It was a true celebration of community wellness across generations.

The 2026 “Let’s Talk Kidney Care” Town Hall brought the community together to learn how to prevent and manage kidney disease. Hosted by the Beverly Hills West (CA) and Los Angeles (CA) Chapters of The Links, Incorporated, the event focused on education, awareness, and action.
Attendees listened to an educational panel discussion, participated in blood pressure monitoring, engaged in fitness activities, and joined a live cooking demo to support healthier lifestyle choices and reduce risk factors for kidney disease.
Sponsored by Vantive, this event strengthened community awareness and empowered participants with practical tools to take charge of their health.

We are so proud of Chapter President Zna Portlock Houston who was invited to introduce the National President of The Links Incorporated at an organization-wide Economic Forum! The event took place this morning at the New York Stock Exchange and focused on the theme of building economic legacies together. Our chapter president is a member of our organization’s National Women’s Empowerment Committee and we are happy to celebrate her impact beyond The Beverly Hills West (CA) Chapter!
