✨Last night at the City Council Meeting, Mayor Sharona Nazarian and City Council recognized Myra Lurie, Music Mends Minds, advocate, champion and ambassador, for a ‘Moment in Unity’ and bringing the 🎵🎵musical program to Roxbury Park and Community Center and helping form the Beverly Hills Treble Makers band. Music Mends Minds is an organization that creates musical support groups for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, traumatic brain injury, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and other neurological disorders. Recognizing that music isn’t just sound, but a universal language that unites us and heals us, and reminds us that we are stronger together.
