Greetings! As you may know, Jerry W. Hunter’s contribution in education-based athletics is being recognized and celebrated by inducting him into the NCHSAA Hall of Fame. The NCHSAA Hall of Fame banquet will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Cary, NC on Saturday, August 16, 2025, with dinner beginning at 5:30 p.m. During the event, the existing members of the prestigious NCHSAA Hall of Fame are recognized and the new honorees are inducted. The NCHSAA is grateful to GlaxoSmithKline (formerly Glaxo Wellcome) for founding the Hall of Fame Endowment Fund, now managed under the NCHSAA Foundation, Inc., which assists in making this a memorable event for the inductees and other attendees.
Each inductee will be honored on stage with a brief interview and a video clip highlighting the inductee’s career. They will be presented with a special Hall of Fame ring to commemorate this crowning event. We would love to have you join us.
Banquet tickets are $70 each. Table seating is for ten (10) individuals per table. We will try to seat all guests of each inductee at tables grouped together. The Embassy Suites by Hilton’s banquet room allows space for about 350 guest tickets. With eight prestigious nominees, securing ticket requests as early as possible is suggested. Filling the facility to capacity is always a goal, as it becomes a testament to the honorees!
