❤️ One Year of Love… But Still No Forever
Gemma came into rescue as a baby, and somehow, one whole year has passed without anyone choosing her, while she's met close to 40 other dogs that have come and gone through the doors of her foster home. She's helped welcome them, make them comfortable, show them the ropes, and given them a companionship they all needed. Then watched them go on their own journey, and still she waits.
But here’s what I want you to know about this girl:
She has never been unloved. ❤️
She has been cuddled, spoiled, played with, cared for, and loved fiercely by the people who have watched her grow. Rescue has been her safe place. She has known kindness. She has known warm beds, full bowls, gentle hands, and people who make sure she knows she matters. She has overcome her fears as an unsociialized puppy that was terrified to go anywhere or of anyone that wasn't her foster mom. She found a braveness all her own, her adventurous inner soul broke free and she loves exploring the world. There's still some moments she gets nervous, but it doesn't take her long to know she's got this and she works right through it.
But as much as we love her, rescue was never supposed to be her forever.
She deserves a family who will celebrate her goofy little quirks, let her curl up beside them, take her on adventures she so dearly loves, and most importantly, give her the one thing she has been waiting for:
A place to belong.
One year old. One year in rescue. And still waiting for someone to say "That's my girl." 🥹🐾
Please share Gemma's story, lets find the home she's been waiting a whole year for. ❤️
