LADIES AG NIGHT!! We are hosting a ladies AG night this year! WHOOP WHOOP!! It will be held on October 27 at 6 pm at the Hazen City Hall. The theme for this year is going to be potato possibilities. SO we will be talking about and demonstrating all kinds of things one can do with their potatoes after they have dug them out! Hot of the presses, Governor Armstrong declared a drought emergency today August 18th 2026 and opened up funding of up to $10,000 to assist producers with water supply issues. Go to swc.nd.gov or call Sam at 701-301-0108 for assistance in applying.

The hot and dry conditions have caused water quality concerns in parts of the state. We're receiving reports of elevated sulfate levels and blue-green algae in livestock water sources. Now is a good time to test ponds, dugouts, etc. Screening your water provides you with valuable information that help you make informed management decisions before problems happen.

Terrarium time! Early this July we tried something different and created terrariums with kids ages 9-14! It was a blast! We will be hosting another class in August! Sign up at the library in Beulah if interest. We have limited spaces for the class.

STORY TIME!!! We had fun being part of the Hazen library’s story time program today. We read some books about worms and the kids got to create their own bugs, by painting some rocks! 🐞🐛🪲
