💙 GET TO KNOW YOUR COACH — COACH JESSI! 💙

Hello NLGA families! I’m Coach Jessi, and I’m very happy to be returning to NLGA this season.

My journey into gymnastics began when my own children fell in love with the sport. What started as supporting them from the sidelines grew into a passion of my own and eventually led me into coaching.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to learn and coach gymnastics at many different stages — from our youngest preschool gymnasts, through the recreational program, and into competitive gymnastics. I also previously had the privilege of serving as Head Coach at NLGA.

After some time away, I’m excited that gymnastics has brought me back to NLGA once again. This season, I’ll be working alongside Coach Christy with Preschool and Recreational classes, as well as helping with our Competition Team practices on Thursdays.

One of the things I appreciate most about gymnastics is watching athletes progress over time. The skills may become more difficult, but the foundation always begins with learning the basics, building confidence, working hard and enjoying the sport.

I’m looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting our new gymnasts, and being part of the NLGA coaching team again.

💙 GET TO KNOW YOUR COACH — COACH BROOKE! 💙

Hey everyone! I’m Coach Brooke, and I’m currently competing on the NLGA Xcel Team, and I’ve also helped coach at NLGA before. This year I get to work with some of our littlest gymnasts in Parent-Tot and Preschool, and I LOVE it! 💙

With our littles, it’s all about exploring, moving, trying new things and having FUN while learning the basics of gymnastics. I love watching them get excited when they try something new and realize “I can do it!”

I enjoy all the events as a gymnast, but I’m especially excited to get back on the floor this season — I can’t wait to perform my new Michael Jackson floor routine! 🎶

I’m ready to get back in the gym, compete, coach, and have a whole lot of fun with our littles!

It’s going to be such a fun season! 💙✨

💙 GET TO KNOW YOUR COACH — COACH BRAYDEN! 💙

Hey! I’m Coach Brayden, and I’m pumped to be back coaching at NLGA!

I competed in men’s gymnastics for four years and reached Level 7, and I’m excited to bring that experience back into the gym and share what I know with our athletes.

This year I’ll be helping with our recreational classes on floor, bars, vault and beam, but I’m especially excited about growing our boys program! 💪

We have TWO boys classes this season, and I’m ready to help these guys get stronger, learn new skills, push themselves and have some fun doing it.

Gymnastics has always been something I’ve loved, so it’s pretty cool getting to come back as a coach and pass some of that on.

💙 GET TO KNOW YOUR COACH — COACH CHRISTY! 💙

Hi NLGA families! 👋 I’m Coach Christy, and I’m so excited for another season in the gym!

Gymnastics has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I truly believe it’s one of those sports that never leaves your blood. There’s just something about being back in the gym that feels like home.

One of my favorite things about coaching at NLGA is getting to work with such a wide range of athletes. Every age and level needs something a little different from their coach—and I love that challenge!

💫 With our Parent-Tot and Preschool gymnasts, I love bringing lots of energy, building trust, and making their first experiences in the gym FUN.

💫 In our Recreational Program, I get to take those foundations and start building toward stronger, more progressive gymnastics skills.

💫 With our Boys Classes, I’m excited to bring in more strength, conditioning, challenges, and a little healthy competition!

💫 And in Advanced Tumbling, I love being able to focus on each athlete individually and help them work toward their own goals and next skills.

This season I’m also incredibly excited to be helping our competitive team on floor, including choreography, and jumping in wherever I’m needed. Floor and bars were always my favorite events as a gymnast, but as a coach, I genuinely enjoy coaching every event and every level.

At the end of the day, my goal is pretty simple: I want our gymnasts to have fun, learn new skills, build confidence, challenge themselves, and develop a love for gymnastics that stays with them long after they leave the gym. 💙

I can’t wait to see everyone in the gym!

Northern Lights Gymnastics Academy is growing and we’re looking for a few great coaches to join our team for the 2026–2027 season! ✨

We are currently hiring for:
• Competitive Gymnastics Coach
• Assistant Rec Coaches

If you love working with kids, enjoy gymnastics, and want to make a positive impact in a fun and encouraging environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Competitive Coach:
• Approx. 6–10 hours per week
• Practices Tuesdays & Thursdays
• Coaching experience preferred but not required

Assistant Rec Coaches:
• Flexible evening hours
• Great opportunity for high school or college students interested in coaching, education, or working with children
• Will train the right people

At NLGA, we are passionate about building confidence, teamwork, and strong athletes in a positive environment.

This is not a formal performance, but a great opportunity for athletes to share their skills in a supportive environment.
