Calling any high school students in need of a break and spiritual refresher this Advent. Life can be super busy and stressful this time of year with school, upcoming finals, sports, plays, concerts, and all of the rest of the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. It can be hard to find the time to get away and recharge on a full retreat weekend. So we invite you to take a night next week to slow down, reflect, and celebrate Advent in prayer and fellowship! Moreover, it's free and open to any high schoolers so feel free to invite friends from other schools or parishes to join us as well! Don't miss out on this week's High School & Middle School Youth Night! It's open to all 6th - 8th graders and all high schoolers. We'll meet tonight from 6:15 to 7:45pm in the gym.

We will have fellowship, snacks, and games in the gym! Afterwards, we'll head over to the backyard of the rectory where we'll have a fire and s'mores! Bring a lawn chair if you're able. We will pray a rosary together too, so be sure to bring a favorite rosary and some intentions for us to pray for!

Calling all high school and middle school students! Feel free to join us for our first HS & MS Youth Night at Our Lady of Lourdes. We'll meet in the gym where we'll have fellowship, dodgeball, and an open Q&A with our new priest, Fr. Ben Snyder, and our new Director of Faith Formation, Morgan Davis. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

We are not a finished product. We are constantly “in progress”. The question is, “Who is shaping us?” Often we ascribe to the notion that it’s on us and we should be self-made. But there is a problem in trying to be the only one in control of ourselves. We are not masters of our design. There is a God who created you out of love for a purpose! Surrender your life to Him one day at a time. Let God shape you with His Word, His teachings and His merciful love and you will become what you were made for.
