Winnie's Transitional Housing - a ministry of Churches United Winnie's Transitional Housing provides a home to women and children escaping from domestic violence and human trafficking. Dr. Melvin L. Grimes.

It's a collaboration between Churches United and Project Now. Winnie's Wishes Resale Shop supported Winnie's Place Shelter for years. Even though the shop closed due to the pandemic, this page will continue to operate. It highlights how Churches United of the Quad City Area is helping the community by operating Winnie's Transitional Housing (a place for women and their children who are escaping fr

om domestic violence or human trafficking), our food pantries, meal sites, and CareLINK (rent and utilities assistance program). We will continue to post daily reflections from our Executive Director, Rev.
