We have our next recipient on the books! 🥳

Meet our new friend, William! 🫶🏻

William is an amazing eight-year-old who has been fighting big medical battles since before he was born. He has Spina Bifida, hypertension, kidney disease, and more. William has already been through more than forty surgeries since birth. Even with all of that, William stays strong, funny, and full of heart.

His journey started at 25 weeks, he had intrauterine surgery while still in the womb. His family likes to say he has two birthdays: the day of that surgery and the day he was officially born.

William’s life includes a lot of doctor visits, surgeries, daily medications, and challenges that most kids never have to face. But he handles it all with courage. He loves having a space where he feels comfortable and safe, and giving him a room that supports his needs means the world to him and his family.

Through everything, William continues to show what true strength looks like. He’s a kid who has been through so much and still wakes up each day ready to keep going.

Our hearts are shattered for the Dangelser family as we share that our friend, Owen, passed away yesterday. We are truly honored that we had the opportunity to meet him & create a happy place for him. He was an incredible kid & will be missed beyond measure. Please continue praying for his mom, Melissa & dad, his sister Emma & brother Jase & all who love Owen. As a way to honor his memory, please play a 90’s rock song & think of Owen’s sweet soul & bravery. Thank you. 💛🙏🏼

Grateful we got to share our heart & our mission with the Bettendorf Rotary Club! 🫶🏻
