Today, we’re thankful for Carolina Mardones and Fundación Padres Pie Bot Chile for supporting children with clubfoot and their families!
After seeing our Brace Buddies, Carolina reached out with a heartfelt idea: bring these special companions to children in Chile to offer encouragement and help make wearing a brace feel more familiar. Recently, she shared photos and a video of the first little recipient with their new buddy! 💚

For Dilan’s family in Hidalgo, Mexico, accessing clubfoot care means traveling nearly two hours to Dr. Cadena’s Ponseti Center. With support from Pasos Contigo, he received casting materials and help covering his tenotomy procedure.

His story shares beautiful progress: Dilan is walking well and wearing his third brace. Continued treatment remains an important part of his journey.

💚 Thankful Thursday: Celebrating Janelle’s Journey! 👣

Janelle began her clubfoot treatment with serial casting as a baby. Today, Stephen from Worldwide Orthopedic Care in Kenya reports that she is doing wonderfully following her recent follow-up visit! Her care team plans for her to complete their program when she turns four.

This Thankful Thursday, we’re grateful to Stephen and the team for supporting Janelle every step of the way—and to our Clubfoot Solutions supporters who help make journeys like hers possible.
