Meet Foxy Brown! Our volunteers have put in countless hours caring for and socializing our current rescues. The results of their dedication truly show in Foxy Brown's transformation. Her health has improved and her confidence has grown tremendously.

Adopters will have to be attentive to her sensitive eyes and be committed to consistent veterinary care. Despite Foxy Brown's unfair past, she still has so much love to give.

Introducing our Lovely Leo! This boy is full of affection and a true mush. Leo is all about knowing what's going and reminding people that they should be petting him. He is both gentle and playful.

At no fault of his own, Leo was bred into horrible conditions and has permanent damage to his eye - but this does not slow him down! His adopter should be prepared to maintain consist veterinary care to monitor his eye. They should also be prepared to some serious cuddling.

Meet Bunny! 🐰 This little girl is appropriately named for her sweet and playful demeanor. Bunny can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up - she is full of purrs.

Bunny was rescued from a deplorable breeding/ hoarding situation. She will always show remnants of past upper respiratory issues. Her eyes may react to change and stress so her adopter will have to be on top of her veterinary care. Bunny needs a family that will give her a chance at the happy home she always deserved.

Lola is serious about one thing and that is - PLAY! She is a silly character that is always busy. She enjoys rolling round with the other kittens, loves her toys and is vocal about both. She needs time to warm up to humans but squeeze treats seem to do the trick. ☺️

It Always Warms Our Hearts When Companies Give Back! We are so incredibly grateful to USI for choosing the Nassau County SPCA for their Day of Service! What started as a plan to simply relieve us of some much-needed chores for the day turned into SO much more!
The amazing USI employees organized our storage room - everything now has a place, and it’s all labeled! They power-washed our bird and small animal cages, leaving them sparkling clean! Employees helped tackle some of the many everyday tasks that keep our organization running including socializing our adoptable animals. Their hard work made a HUGE difference, but what meant just as much was the time they spent with our animals and the genuine enthusiasm they brought to every task. We cannot thank you enough USI Insurance Services! 💙🐾
