The Bethpage and Garden City Junior Firefighters
Spent Saturday at the Nassau County EMS academy certifying in CPR-AED-First Aid. The instructors were not only knowledgeable but able to connect with the Juniors making learning easy.
All this was possible through The Terry Farrell Funds Juniors training program. These classe are made available to Junior Firefighters free of charge. The Fund realizes the importance of Junior Firefighter programs to the future of the fire service. If your Juniors are interested in attending one of these classes reach out to the Terry Farrell Fund.

Today the Bethpage Junior Firefighters were able to assist in the retiring of wreaths at Pinelawn National Cemetery. There were plenty of volunteers on hand for this endeavor. In all 12 - 30 yard containers and several trucks were filled in a matter of hours. It was humbling to stand in the cemetery with a 360 degree view of all those who served our nation.
