ROTARY'S 7 AREAS OF FOCUS

Rotary International's seven areas of focus are critical humanitarian issues and needs that Rotarians are addressing worldwide. These areas reflect the Foundation's mission and align with other international development efforts. Here are the seven areas of focus:

Peace and Conflict Prevention / Resolution: Strengthening peace efforts, training local leaders to prevent and mediate conflict, and supporting long-term peace building in areas affected by conflict.

Disease Prevention and Treatment: Improving access to low-cost and free healthcare, preventing the spread of major diseases like polio, HIV/AIDS, and malaria.

Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene: Providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene services to communities.

Saving Mothers and Children: Supporting maternal and child health initiatives.

Supporting Education: Enhancing educational opportunities and resources.

Growing Local Economies: Promoting economic development and entrepreneurship.

Protecting the Environment: Addressing environmental challenges and promoting sustainability.

These areas are essential for creating a better world and supporting Rotary's mission to build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world.
