The board of the GLVMA and the Co-Directors of LVMA are blessed for the company of Gloria Domina (Mizzy Gee) and are sad to announce her resignation after 20 dedicated years on the board & in service to the . She has made this decision for personal & family reasons, as she splits her time between Pennsylvania & Delaware. The legacy she leaves behind is one of mentorship and maternal care for our local musicians, fans and all she interacted with. She has guided numerous members of our community in their professional career and personal lives.
Always ready with a wise word or caring ear, Gloria embodied the spirit of the LVMA. We are acutely aware of the shoes that are too big to fill, and grateful that Gloria will be filling the role of historian for LVMA. She has helped tremendously to make & the organization & event it is. We are so grateful for all her time & efforts and are overjoyed to still have her in our company!
In the next few weeks we will announce our process for bringing on a new member to the board and our plans for the 2020 Music Awards. Thank you for your patience as we move through this transition. We wish you all good health and well-being as we as a community continue to navigate through this challenging time.
Inquiries should be made via Facebook message to the LVMA page or to Rick Flores or Erin Monie.
