On August 31st, come join the WRENegades and try your hand at Urban Sketching. What is Urban Sketching you ask? Well, it’s where artists set up in a city or town then do drawings of the street scenes they see.

We are going to learn some new techniques to quickly draw buildings and people. Throw out your old vanishing point perspective and counting the number of heads in the figure, these are just too slow to capture a live street scene.

Instead, we will be using a two-pencil technique for buildings and an outline technique for people. Beginners are welcome along with more experienced artists that want to try outdoor drawing and have some fun at this free event.

Please bring an inexpensive sketchbook, TWO pencils ( #2 with erasers are fine) and optional folding chair.

One week from today! A chance to connect with your business.

Here is something worth sitting with: if part of you wants to stay unseen, your business will feel that.

It sounds simple, but so many creative entrepreneurs carry a quiet wish to fly under the radar. Maybe it feels safer. Maybe visibility feels overwhelming. Maybe you are not quite sure you are ready.

In "The Energy of Business" on June 26, Tanya Alexis leads a gentle discussion about how that desire to hide can show up in your business and what to do about it. This is not about forcing yourself into the spotlight. It is about understanding what is holding you back and finding a path that feels right for you.

Stick around for "Connecting to Creativity" at 12:30! This one-hour class is a lovely way to wrap up your time with Tanya.

One week away! Grab your spot at the link in our bio.
